How can we improve ConnectCarolina?

Student: Improve the performance of the system

During peak undergrad usage period (the weeks surrounding and including registration as well as the first week of the semester) ConnectCarolina has struggled significantly in terms of user response. Given the competitive nature of undergrad registration at Carolina, students need a system that will respond quickly to their requests allowing them to register for the classes they need.

Certainly this is a broad complaint; however, I think that it is imperative for the ConnectCarolina team to consider ways to make ConnectCarolina responsive and robust even at peak usage times.

        Along with performance, it would be nice if the system did a better job of letting you know its "processing" information. The flashing sign on the top right hand corner is easy to miss.

        This is equally important in graduate admissions as well.
